Axe Throwing Regulations

Axe throwers must start in the Axe Throwing box but may step one foot forward for their shot.

Players must never cross the red fault line during a throw.

Axe handles must be between 13″-17″ long. The blade must be no longer than 4″. The axe must way less than 2 lbs.

Players use Rock Paper Scissors to choose who will throw first.

Each player gets three practice throws before their match.

Matches consist of 3 rounds, each round consists of 5 thrown axes.

The scoring is based on where the majority of the blade has landed, with the exception of the bulls-eye. The bulls-eye is counted if any portion of the axe blade is touching.

In the event of a tie a double handed axe throwing round will occur – with one throw from each participant.
